Why Other Shops Refuse Tesla Tires (and Why We Don't)
Tesla tires require specific jacking technique. The battery shield runs underneath the car and can be damaged by a careless jack. Many tire shops don't train for this and would rather refuse the job. Quickie's techs are trained on Tesla jacking points and use Tesla-approved jacking pucks.
Run-flat tires (which most Tesla models, BMWs, and Mini Coopers ship with) have stiffer sidewalls. Some shops only know how to plug a standard tire and tell run-flat customers their tire is unrepairable when it actually is. Our repair process works on run-flats as long as the damage is in the tread area.
Low-profile and high-performance tires can be tricky to mount without damage. We use the right machines, and we mount + balance on-site at your location.
